Sometimes it feels a task is so difficult, it would be easier to put a camel through the eye of a needle, than succeed in what you’re aiming for. Especially so, if you’re blindfolded – so you don’t really know how to approach the task or what the outcome should be exactly.

It might be best then to begin with the least difficult part of the task, and continue from there on as far as possible. Perhaps the entire camel will eventually go through the eye of the needle.

In art this feeling is an everyday phenomenon. There is the artistic vision, a picture or feeling one tries to achieve. Most often the end result is something else completely. It may be something much better than one could have imagined, but it can also be truly disappointing. The key is to learn from each of these experiences and enhance one’s skills, so that it is possible to reach the inner vision one day.

What is your camel and the eye of the needle you must get it through?
